Okay...August.

Went pretty well. Business operations were more or less as expected when we put the budget together last month, except no Babac order this month.

We had some sizable gains when I put together the grant invoice for the Spoke, as it ended up being about $3,000 larger than I expected. I also had a revision to the July numbers of about $400, as doing the bank reconciliation, I found that we finally received our "Small Business HIring Tax Credit" from 2011.

The end result is that the end of year loss was quite small. This doesn't change anything about the need to economize until the North shop starts earning its keep, but it does start us off a bit more comfortably than we'd expected to be at this point in time.

These numbers are essentially what will be presented at the AGM. I still don't have bank statements for our two Casino accounts from August, so there may be some small revisions. We'd also discussed having someone do a bit of an audit, and I'm not sure where that's sitting. We definitely will need someone other than myself to sign off on the year end statements in order to file them with Alberta Registries.

I'd also like to mention that we've received $1,071 so far in memorial donations for Isaak Kornelsen. I've compiled an address list, and feel like we should send out some kind of acknowledgement of these donations. Volunteers?
