Dear Bike Edmonton Members,We need your help this holiday season! You support our vision of a city where cycling is safe, widespread, and accessible to people of all comfort levels. You need to keep supporting this vision. We are facing an immediate financial crunch. As we work towards a sustainable and prosperous future by voting on a balanced budget at the next board meeting (December 11), we have to face the winter months, when revenue is lower. If every person reading this email donates $25, we will raise $30,000. These funds will help carry us through the winter months and address cash flow issues. We need these funds to stay operational. Other ways you can support Bike Edmonton are:
Together, we make sure every Edmontonian keeps rolling. With gratitude and appreciation! Bike Edmonton Board & Staff |

Need last-minute gift ideas? We've got posters! The Know Your Bike poster (aka the contrafactual bike poster) is an essential reference to help you remember what bike parts are NOT called! This amusing and amazing piece of bike art is printed on 18" x 13" glossy paper. The poster was created by cheeky local duo Tamarack and Juniper, who are Jesse Cunningham (@tamarackcunningham) and graphic designer/cycling enthusiast Juniper Mitchell (@juniper.mitchell.art). You can purchase the poster for $10 at either of our shops any time we're open, or at our downtown online store and south online store. These vintage bike posters are $20 each and we have a little under twenty for both types at the downtown shop. Check out these NOS helmet covers (super dorky!) and NOS winter helmet liners. These are also available at the downtown shop. |

We've put together packages of out-of-date bike and river valley trail maps that make fantastic wrapping paper. Map Wrap was born when our staff started using outdated bike maps for gift wrap. We found the maps were better quality than most commercial wrapping paper ... and they're recyclable! Each Map Wrap package is $30 and contains:
Map Wrap packages are available at either of our workshops any time we're open, or through our downtown online store and south online store. |
