EBC is a non-profit society that supports and promotes utilitarian cycling in Edmonton. We operate a community bike shop, offer riding and mechanic courses, work with marginalised communities to provide safe and convenient transportation by bike, and advocate for cycle friendly policies in the city. This WIKI is intended to help our members become more familiar with EBC by providing access to information related to its operations and governance. Notice of Annual General Meeting
The Edmonton Bicycle Commuters' Society will hold its Annual General Meeting on Sunday, October 3, 2010. Meeting time is 1:00pm - 3:00pm at the Parkallen Community Hall, 11104-65 Ave NW. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held for all current and interested EBC members. The AGM informs members of EBC's activities over the past year and is also an opportunity to set out future priorities for the organization. Also, it's as fun as going to see Spokesong, but with more free food! Come have your say in what EBC is doing.
This is an important year for the AGM as motions will be consider to update the society's bylaws and to alter our objects (purpose) in the hopes of registering for charitable status. Have your say, please attend.
