- Notice of Special General Meeting provided in newsletter on February 28. Need to send out specifics of how to attend and the budget to review in advance still.
Special General Meeting (10 min)
- Date: March 22, 7pm
- Details on how to attend: email info@bikeedmonton.ca (or should this be board@bikeedmonton to not further clutter the info email feed?) and will be invited by board volunteer to meeting. Meeting is already in Bike Edmonton Events calendar, with a Google Meet link.
- Kelly will organize the membership check google sheet, and online voting as per Chris Chan's suggested method.
- need more board volunteers.
- Volunteer Duties:
- monitor board@bikeedmonton.ca for special general meeting requests. Use the email to check membership status, record membership status check on Google sheet (link to be provided separately so we don't publish everyone's email publicly here), and then invite them to the meeting. Also need to check if they actually attend the meeting.
- monitor board@bikeedmonton.ca for board nominations, check membership status, and add to online voting slate
- during nominations from the floor during the event, add any nominations from the floor to online voting slate
- send out online voting link(s) during meeting
- someone to take minutes
- voting on budget by show of hands, no need to be secret. Person taking minutes can count votes, but may appreciate help
