Bike Edmonton recognizes that helmets can save lives and encourages cyclists to wear them.
Bike Edmonton opposes mandatory helmet laws for adults. Such laws restrict the freedom of people participating in a normal, overwhelmingly healthy activity that benefits both the participant and society.
