BikeWorks Volunteer Orientation
It takes a small army of volunteers to keep BikeWorks running every day and we welcome anybody who would like to join our community. Learn how you can lend a hand by attending a Volunteer Orientation! You'll find out how you can help keep the shop running smoothly, learn a little bit of the history and philosophy of EBC, and get connected with other volunteers.
BikeWorks volunteers receive benefits including after-hours access, volunteer pricing, free private courses, social events, and of course the opportunity to learn mechanic skills while helping people to fix their bikes.
Existing mechanical experience is always welcome, but not necessary. There are opportunities for non-mechanical volunteers, as well as opportunities to develop new skills.

it is unfortunate that this orientation starts before typical working hours are over 🙁
You can register for the volunteer orientation on June 1st from 6:30pm-8:30pm at BikeWorks North if that time works better for you, even if you are only interested in volunteering at BikeWorks South. Most of the material covered will be the same. If that doesn’t work for you either, please email [email protected] and we may be able to arrange something else.
We have been staggering orientation times because we can’t have them while the shop is open and we are trying to accommodate the many varying schedules of our volunteers.
Thanks!
