BikeWorks Volunteer Orientation
It takes a small army of volunteers to keep BikeWorks running every day and we welcome anybody who would like to join our community. Learn how you can lend a hand by attending a Volunteer Orientation! You'll find out how you can help keep the shop running smoothly, learn a little bit of the history and philosophy of EBC, and get connected with other volunteers.
BikeWorks volunteers receive benefits including after-hours access, volunteer pricing, free private courses, social events, and of course the opportunity to learn mechanic skills while helping people to fix their bikes.
Existing mechanical experience is always welcome, but not necessary. There are opportunities for non-mechanical volunteers, as well as opportunities to develop new skills.

I want help with my front stem.I lost a few balls from the lower bearing when I took it apart to service it and now there is a stiffness which is getting worse in turning my front wheel left or right . The lower gasket is torn ( broken) and partially sticking out from the space beneath the lower bearing housing and the stem.
I can be there first thing on Saturday (tomorrow) i.e between 12;30 and 1:00 pm . Will someone be able to help? The bike is a fairly old high handled aluminum framed Trek .
